#Repost @natrice.miller with @get_repost ・・・ It’s been an amazing experience working with The Emory University Center for Ethics with a great group of students for their Arts and Social Engagement class. We paired up with local nonprofit New American Pathways, to create a photo project focusing on local refugee children. I truly enjoyed connecting with the children the past couple of months, hearing their thoughts and creating their portaits. My group did a fantastic job creating all of the polaroids of the kids and documenting their stories. We gave one polaroid to each child. We then let them decorate and add their personal touch to the ones we kept (pictured). The refugee situation is a controversial subject these days, so my goal was to approach the subject from the point of view of a child to create a different dialogue.
